Our first Summer Academy of 2008 was a great success! So much so that 9 News came out to cover it. Score!
Unfortunately, they focused on one very small fraction of what Academy is all about: The fact that we hosted 10 students who are preparing to serve as ambassadors at the Democratic National Convention next month. It's exciting news to be sure, but we would have loved it if they'd focused on the amazing service projects our students participated in that day instead.
